- How can I create an account?
- Just enter your desired username and password in the form above and click "Create Account"
- Do I need an email address to register?
- No, we don't care about your email address.
- Can I create more than 1 account?
- Yes.
- How many devices can I use my account on?
- Unlimited.
- Can my roommates also watch using my account?
- Yes.
- How can I comment on a movie?
- Make sure you're logged in and go to the movie page you want to comment on, there will be a form at the bottom of the page to leave a comment.
- How can I remove adverts?
- Go to the Account page and follow the instructions to donate. Donators can enjoy no ads on Mp4Hydra, and get a badge on their comments.
- How do donations work?
- For every $1 donated, you will get 1 month of no adverts. Currently all donations are done by the anonymous cryptocurrency called Monero (XMR). You will find donation instructions on the Account Donation page. All donations go towards operating costs.
- How do I get Monero?
- The easiest way is to use a Centralized Exchange (CEX) to exchange your national currency for cryptocurrency. Once you have Monero, you will be able to make anonymous transactions. You can find more info on this page.
- Why do you only accept cryptocurrency donations?
- We value privacy for everyone.
- How do I view my watch history?
- Go to the Watch History page to see movies you've already watched. You can also clear your history on that page.
- How can I see my watch later list?
- Go to the Watch Later page to see your saved movies for future viewing. You can also clear your list on that page.
- Will my account work on other mirrors?
- Yes, all accounts will work on all mirrors.
- Can you recover my forgotten account or password?
- We do not store identifying information, so account recovery is not possible. You should use a secure password manager or remember your account details.
- Can I change my password?
- Yes, on the Account Settings page.
- Can I use 2FA (2-Factor Authentication) on my account?
- Yes, you need to enable 2FA on your account on the Account page, and you can choose to require 2FA for logins and settings changes.
- Can I delete my account?
- Yes, on the Account Settings page. Account deletion cannot be undone.
- Can I get banned?
- It's possible to have commenting restricted for breaking the commenting rules.
